A LITTLE MORE ABOUT Robin:

Reverend Robin M. Hynicka, co-convener, is the Lead Pastor of Arch Street United Methodist Church, in Center City Philadelphia (2004 – to date).   Reverend Hynicka is a member of several United Methodist related organizations – the Urban Commission of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference; the Methodist Federation for Social Action; the National Methodist Federation for Social Action Program Council; the Reconciling United Methodists of Eastern Pennsylvania. He is a delegate to the 2020 General Conference and the 2020 NE Jurisdictional Conference. In partnership with the Conference Commission on Religion and Race, the Board of Ordained Ministry, and the Office of Connectional Ministries, he convenes the Whites Confronting Racism clergy cohort for intensive anti-racism training.  Reverend Hynicka is a Founding Member of POWER (Philadelphians Organized to Witness Empower and Rebuild) an interfaith network of communities of faith and conscience in Philadelphia and beyond advocating for and achieving sacred and social justice. He serves as a Trustee of Albright College, and as Vice-President of Center City Organized for Responsible Development. He has two children, Rebecca Solayman and Alexander Patterson and four grandchildren Lyla, Keenan, Amaya, and Dawud.
