Nancy Megley is a 25-year member of Arch Street United Methodist Church where she chairs the finance committee and serves as recording secretary for Church Council. She holds similar roles with The Center board, which she joined in 2020, serving on the finance committee and as board secretary.  Moving to Philadelphia and discovering a loving church family at Arch Street UMC, was “life changing,” says Nancy, and she is grateful for Arch Street UMC’s social justice advocacy and mission.   Nancy grew up in an Air Force family that relocated regularly throughout the Southeastern United States, Guam, Japan, the Philippines, and Europe. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA in English and enjoyed a 45-year distinguished career in medical publishing.  Megley commissioned what became the leading U.S. neurology textbook, Bradley & Daroff’s Neurology in Clinical Practice, now in its 8^th edition, and served as publisher for the renown journals of the American Academy of Neurology and American Society of Anesthesiologists.  Nancy met her husband, Bob, in Boston, MA and in December 2020, the couple celebrated their 50^th anniversary.
